Rainbow Six Siege will crossover with Metal Gear Solid, as Ubisoft announced Solid Snake will appear as a new operator in Year 11.
A 15-second clip of the upcoming tactical action game roadmap makes it clear, showing not only a faceless figure wearing a familiar stealth suit, but also a Codec call in the style of Metal Gear Solid 1 from none other than Sam Fisher of splinter Cell fame. It’s the kind of crossover fans have dreamed of for decades, adn Ubisoft is now making it a reality. The company plans to reveal the Year 11 roadmap next month.
The presentation will be livestreamed on February 7th at 10 AM PST, according to Ubisoft. Fans can tune in to see the full details of the crossover and what else Year 11 has in store for Rainbow Six Siege.
This isn’t the first time Ubisoft has teased a crossover event. Last year, the company brought raccoon City Police Department officer Leon S. Kennedy from Resident Evil into the game. The addition of Solid Snake and Sam Fisher continues this trend of bringing iconic characters from other franchises into the world of Rainbow Six Siege.
