Recently, Ubisoft Entertainment announced the release of the new season “Operation Deadly Omen” of its popular multiplayer FPS game “Rainbow Six Siege”.
The new season introduces “Deimos”, the first playable villain and attack operator in the game. Deimos can share his target and his location with teammates in real time through a tracking device called the “DeathMARK tracker”. Using this feature, the team can gain a complete view of the map, suppress enemy movement, avoid flanking attacks, and create distractions. Deimos is an operator with speed 2 and health 2. He uses the AK-74M and M5904A1 as his primary weapons and the .44 Vendetta revolver as his secondary weapon.
Additionally, various updates have been made to strengthen the game’s tactical meta and improve the aiming of called shots to increase the influence of gadgets. We also changed the balance between operators and equipment.
“Rainbow Six Siege” is making several efforts to maintain a healthy gaming environment well into Year 9. Details include Strike Team-focused data bans, restrictions on ranked playlists, QB system, and mousetrap updates.
We are also working on improving game features. Users can easily categorize and install the skins they own via the newly introduced “Locker” inventory management menu.
