Rainbow Six: Siege Year 7 Season 1 ‘Evil Veil’ Appears in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege

Ubisoft announced today that Rainbow Six: Siege Season 1, “The Evil Veil,” is available today on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC (including Xbox Game Pass and Ubisoft+ subscription service) platform officially debuted. This season brings new Japanese operator Azami, the “Team Deathmatch” game mode, a new map coming later this season, and other game updates. Players can play Rainbow Six Siege and experience the Team Deathmatch game mode for free on PC and PlayStation during the Free Week event from March 17 to March 24.

In Demon Veil, the new defender Azami is equipped with the game-changing Tooth Barrier, which she can throw with kunai to deploy an inflatable material that solidifies into a bulletproof surface, allowing her to quickly mend walls and holes in the floor, creating a more mobile and flexible defense. In addition, players can also play the new map “Emerald Plains” that “Rainbow Six: Siege” launched in the middle of the season for the first time in three years. When this map comes out, players will be able to explore a modern country club in Ireland.

The new “Team Deathmatch” game mode is also available in “Veil of Demons”, designed to provide players with the perfect environment to warm up and practice aiming skills in competitive battles, as well as in Rainbow Six: Siege. Provide more casual gaming experience. Team Deathmatch is a permanent addition to Rainbow Six: Siege and the best way for new players to get acquainted with the many operators.

Other updates coming with the Demon Veil include:

  • 2-Step Verification is required to play Ranked Battles

  • Balance update for Goyo and Valkyrie

  • Exclusive Elite Skin for Nomad

  • Attacker Reselection

  • New R6Fix Rewards Program

Until March 28, players can purchase the limited-time Annual Pass or Premium Annual Pass. The Annual Pass unlocks 4 Seasonal Battle Passes – including 14 days early when new Operators are launched; while the Premium Annual Pass unlocks 4 Battle Passes, plus early unlocks for new Operators, exclusive exotic weapon skins, R6 points number and so on. Players who purchase the Premium Annual Pass can also unlock an additional 20 of the 100 tiers for faster rewards.
