After the Children’s Day, it is expected to rain across the country this weekend.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the country will be mostly clear on the 10th, and the maximum daytime temperature is expected to be between 20 and 28 degrees, including 24 degrees in Seoul, 25 degrees in Daejeon and Gwangju, and 28 degrees in Seoul. Gangneung and Pohang. However, rain was expected to fall across the country on the 11th and 12th due to the influence of the depression.

Up to 100mm of rain is expected to fall this weekend in mountainous areas of Jeju, where more than 800mm of water bombs fell during the last holiday season. More than 80 millimeters of rain could fall near Mount Jiri and on the southern coasts of Jeonnam and Gyeongnam. In the metropolitan area, including Seoul, 5 to 30 mm of rain is expected. An official from the Korea Meteorological Administration said: “Precipitation is expected to be particularly heavy in the southern region.”

However, unlike Children’s Day, where it rained for three days, the trough is moving quickly and the rainfall time is expected to be relatively short. From the evening of the 11th to the early morning of the 12th, rain is expected to fall around 10 mm per hour in the metropolitan area and between 10 and 20 mm per hour in the southern region. In the Gyeongsang and Jeju regions, the rain may continue later.

After the rain stops, clear and warm weather is expected to continue for a while. However, there is a possibility that the yellow dust originating in Northeast China on the 10th and 11th will enter Korea around the 12th, riding on the wind.
