Constitutional Amendments: A Threat to Democracy

Prime Minister KP has expressed strong opposition to the proposed constitutional amendments, labeling them as an attack on democracy. In a recent conversation with media representatives in Peshawar, the Prime Minister emphasized that these amendments will not be allowed to succeed.

Highlighting the importance of peace and harmony, the Prime Minister stated that Islam promotes a message of peace, and as a nation, they are committed to upholding this principle. He prayed for the removal of hatred from people’s hearts, seeking divine intervention to promote unity and understanding.

The Prime Minister reiterated his government’s commitment to standing with the judiciary and defending their legitimate rights. He expressed confidence in their ability to defeat the proposed amendments in parliament, emphasizing that the approval process is lengthy and requires presentation in the courage assembly.

Ali Amin Gandapur, a key figure in the government, echoed the Prime Minister’s sentiments, reiterating their resolve to protect democracy and the nation’s interests.
