(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Choi Song-a = Brooks Kepka and Bryson Dishampo (above the US), who used to be representative of the golf industry, but have recently created a ‘reconciliation mood’, will play head-to-head on the field.

The US Golf.com reported on the 6th (Korean time) that the two players will face off in a 12-hole match play at The Win Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on November 26th.

The 5th series of the event contest ‘The Match’, which started as a confrontation between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson (above the US) in November 2018, was completed as a match between them.

Kepka and Dishombo are recently known in the golf world as ‘dogs and wives’.

In early 2019, when Kepka complained about the players’ slow pace of play at the European Tour, De Chambeau decided that it was aimed at him and rebutted it, starting with a difficult relationship.

In May of this year, during Koepka’s broadcast interview, a video of Koepka’s distorted expression became a topic of discussion as Deshombo passed behind him.

In addition, there was a situation in which the PGA Tour warned Dichambo as some galleries shouted ‘Brookie’, a slightly modified name of Kepka, to Dechambo.

In the midst of this, concerns were raised that they might harm unity as they were included together as the US representatives for the Ryder Cup, a men’s golf competition between the United States and Europe last month, but it seems to have softened to some extent as the United States won the championship and they celebrated with hugs. .

The match play between Kepka and Dishampo is a one-on-one match held in ‘The Match’ after the match between Woods and Mickelson in 2018. Since Mickelson’s victory in the first ‘Fight of the Century’, the match has been held in the form of a 2v2 match.

In May of last year, Woods and Mickelson teamed up with NFL legends Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, respectively, and the Woods-Manning team won.

In November of last year, Mickelson teamed up with former NBA star player Charles Barkley to defeat Manning and active NBA star Stephen Curry Joe.

In ‘The Match 4’ in July of this year, Mickelson and D’Chambo participated and paired up with Brady and NFL star Aaron Rogers, respectively.

Mickelson, who has appeared on all four occasions, is not included this time, but Golf.com said Mickelson is expected to be involved in the event in some way, even if not directly.
