Red Bull F1 Representative “Father Jos Verstappen is not objective”[F1-Gate .com]

Christian Horner, Red Bull F1 team representative, said Jos Verstappen was “not objective.”

Max Verstappen’s father, Joss, was critical of Red Bull Racing after Monaco. This suggested that Red Bull Racing did not do enough to support the team’s number one driver through its pit strategy.

However, Sergio Perez has just signed a two-year contract extension, and he denies any mention of number one or number two drivers.

“There’s nothing in my contract that I have to finish in second place. That didn’t matter at all,” Sergio Perez told Baku.

“Of course, the season is still young, so I don’t know what will happen.”

“The number one driver is the driver ahead, and it’s just as easy,” said Christian Horner, Red Bull Racing’s F1 team representative.

Jos Verstappen’s post-Monaco criticism “The father is never completely objective”

“Joss is his own personality and has his own opinion, which is perfectly fine. Our reality was clearly a little different, but it doesn’t matter.”

“What wasn’t clear was all the information we had during the race.”

Christian Horner also said Red Bull Racing must continue to focus on its real enemy, Ferrari, in 2022.

“Our fight isn’t between two drivers, it’s a very competitive Ferrari with two fast drivers,” said Christian Horner.

“As a team, we have to fight and challenge Ferrari, which is obviously very fast this year.”
