Born in Seoul in 1966, the deceased graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Inha University and majored in Sociology in graduate school. While working as an adjunct professor at Kyung Hee Cyber ​​​​​​University, he became known as a current affairs critic by appearing as a regular host or panelist on various current affairs programs since the inception of the full programming channel in 2011. His books include “Sonnet” (2015) and “The Power of Experience to Create Wealth” (2022).

Since September 2021, he has hosted KBS’s first radio program “Current Affairs Headquarters”, but turned off the microphone in March last year due to colon cancer. On May 27 last year, she confessed on her Instagram that she was “battling stage 4 colon cancer.”

On the 16th, Youngsim Choi, the deceased’s younger brother, posted on the deceased’s Facebook page: “Although he was fighting cancer for 2 years and 8 months, he was active in various broadcasts” and “Despite having a high fever of over 39 degrees in the last month and in the delirium of the last few weeks, he continued to make political commentary, writing: “I was a mumbling current affairs idiot.”
