Johanna Leyden passed away peacefully in Carrigoran House, Co. Clare, at the age of 103. She was formerly from Gortkeel, Ennistymon, and Carhue, Cooraclare. Johanna was surrounded by her loving family.
She was predeceased by her husband Mikie and baby Noel. Johanna was a cherished mother to Michael, Timothy, Teresa, Christy, Máirín, Gerardine, Patrick, and Peter. She is remembered by her daughters-in-law Ella, Margaret, Brid, Joan, and Marion, and her sons-in-law Brian, Gearóid (Ó’Cosghordha RIP), Kevin. Johanna leaves behind 28 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law Eileen and Mary.
The family requests no flowers, but donations can be made to Carrigoran House.
Funeral Arrangements
- Reposing: Clarecastle Church on Friday, 15th November, from 4:15 PM to 6:15 PM.
- Funeral Mass: Saturday, 16th November, at 11:00 AM, followed by burial in Clouna Cemetery.
