Philomena (Finan) McFadden has passed away. She lived in Sligo“>Tubbercurry, Sligo, and London. Philomena died unexpectedly and peacefully in ICU at Letterkenny University Hospital on November 26, 2024. Her family surrounded her during her final moments.
She was the beloved wife of Tony and the devoted mother of Fiona, Paul, and Emma. Philomena is sadly missed by her son-in-law Dave and her grandchildren Aoife, Finn, and Keela.
Philomena was a devoted sister to Patsy (RIP), James, Anna, and Micheal. She was also an aunt, sister-in-law, and friend to many, including Avis, Margaret MacDonald, and Maureen McGee. Her relatives, neighbors, and a large circle of friends will also miss her dearly.
Philomena’s remains will be at Newtown, Falcarragh F92 YK8M, starting on November 28, 2024, at 2 PM. The rosary will conclude at 9 PM. Extra parking is available in John Joe McFadden’s yard.
Her funeral will occur at Teach Phobail Naomh Fionán, Falcarragh Church, F92 N6Y9, on November 29, 2024, at 1 PM. Family time will be private on the morning of the funeral.
