The “Kinema Junpo Best 10” film award is selected by the film magazine “Kinema Junpo” for films released last year.
On February 1st, the “2022 96th Kinema Junpo Top Ten Announcement and Award Ceremony” was held with the award winners in attendance.
Ren Meguro (Snowman) won the Best New Actor Award. Last year, I appeared in “Phases of the Moon” and “Osomatsu-san”.

When asked, “Among them, who was the happiest?”, “Those who were happy with their whole body were Koji Mukai, Tatsuya Fukasawa, and Daisuke Sakuma. (Looking at them) I was happy with myself,” he said.
When asked, “What’s the difference between how you face yourself as an idol and as an actor?” Meguro replied, “When you are an idol, how much you can show your charm on stage. On the contrary, when I act, I try to remove myself as much as possible, and it feels like I doing addition and subtraction when thinking.”
Here, Ryuichi Hiroki, the director of the movie “Moon Phases”, made a surprise appearance with a bouquet of flowers.
Director Hiroki said on Mr. Meguro, “He’s a very attentive person, and he’s always on set. I want him to continue playing various roles.”
When asked, “What kind of memories do you have with the director?” Meguro said, “I want you to bring your feelings. Anyway, I did my best and acted with the intention of bringing feelings that day. from home to the scene.”
Rina Arashi, who appeared in “My Small Land”, won the Best New Actress Award.
