French automaker Renault is weighing the possibility of establishing drone production lines in Ukraine after being approached by the Ukrainian⁢ government. A Renault spokesperson confirmed that while discussions have occurred with the defense ministry, no firm decision has⁢ been made as the company awaits specific project details.

The potential move to produce drones in Ukraine comes ⁣shortly after French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu mentioned that a major French car manufacturer would collaborate with a defense firm to set up drone production in the country. These drones would support the Ukrainian military while also providing the French with valuable real-world training experience.
