Professor Magdi Yacoub Supports National Human Development Project

Renowned cardiothoracic surgeon and professor, Magdi Yacoub, has expressed his support for the National Human Development Project, “A New Beginning for Human Building”.

In a video message released on the Prime Minister’s official page, Professor Yacoub emphasized the importance of culture in the progress of a nation.

“A short message from an Egyptian citizen to the Egyptian people… Civilization and the progress of the people depend entirely on the culture of the people and this culture requires great care of the government and the people,” he stated.

He further added, “I am absolutely convinced that the new project will have a great impact on this issue… and is an extension of the interest and progress of the Egyptian civilization, a civilization known since the days of the ancient Egyptians.”

National Human Development Project Overview

The National Human Development Project encompasses several sub-initiatives, including a program for children aged 1 to 6 years, aimed at developing their skills, encouraging creativity, and improving their health.

The project also includes programs for the 6- to 18-year-old age group, focusing on education, training, and skill development to prepare them for the labor market.

Additionally, the “Bedaya” project includes programs for adults aged 18 to 65 years or older, aimed at increasing their capacity and qualifications for the labor market, as well as programs to support the elderly and community participation.
