Saudi press reports revealed that there is an intention within the management of the Saudi Al Hilal team to submit a request to the Saudi Football League Association, to postpone the team’s match against Al Ahly Jeddah, scheduled to be held next Friday, within the framework of the Saudi Football League competitions.

This decision came by the management of Al Hilal Saudi Arabia, after the Asian Football Confederation postponed the team’s match against Al Ain, UAE, in the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League, due to bad weather conditions, so that it will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, instead of today.

The Saudi Al-Riyadiya newspaper reported: “Al-Hilal Saudi Club will submit a request to the Competitions Committee of the Saudi League, in order to postpone the Al-Ahly Jeddah league match, given the difficulty of holding it only two days after the Al-Ain match in the AFC Champions League.”

It is noteworthy that the Saudi Football League Competitions Association announced earlier that Al Hilal management had submitted a request to the association, with the aim of reconsidering the arrangement of the team’s match schedule, especially the team’s match against Ittihad Jeddah.

Al Hilal team is at the top of the Saudi Football League standings, with 77 points, collected from 27 matches they have played in the competition so far.
