The video sort of makes us wish that all zoos and aquariums had a little window where you could hold an animal’s hand. Just imagine getting to hold the hand of an orangutan! It would make visiting the aquarium a whole lot more interesting, that’s for sure.
Shared by one such visitor, the clip is downright precious. It shows the otter grabbing for the woman’s hand through an opening in her enclosure. What a little angel! She just wants someone to give her a little lovin’.

People in the comments section needed to see this otter hold someone’s hand — ASAP. “I could not be trusted, we would still be holding hands,” wrote one person. “Look I am willing to sign a waiver in the event I get bit, just let me have ONE moment of happiness and let me hold those sweet little paws,” chimed in someone else. “Is the no hand holding for her safety or ours because I will sign the waivers. My girl let me hold that lil’ hand,” joked another. “She was trying so hard to get to you,” chuckled one person.
Some people wondered why there was an opening in the enclosure in the first place, to which the woman explained that they were “snack holes!”
