Riyadh: Five people, including a woman and a child, were injured when the roof of a restaurant collapsed in Saudi Arabia. The incident took place in Al Khobar in the Eastern Province. The roof of the front of the shop collapsed on those who came to eat there.
Three local women, a boy and a man were injured. The injured are being treated at King Fahd University Hospital in Dammam. The relatives said that their health condition was not critical. Eastern Province Governor Saud bin Naif has directed the government to provide all possible medical care to the injured. The governor directed Maj. Gen. Ajab al-Harbi, the head of the Eastern Province’s Civil Defense, to submit an investigation report on the accident.
