Kunnamkulam: Govt. The second phase of the renovation of the older land under Ysgol Bechgyn Model has begun. Activities are carried out on the field near the synthetic track to awaken the students’ sporting dreams. He had also received an administrative sanction of Rs 69.83 lakh.
The second stage includes leveling the field, building a soft layer on the ground with a thickness of 15 cm, a dirt road, fencing at a height of eight meters to prevent the ball from going out, and a pitch for cricket practice. Once the work is complete, the mud football pitch will be ready. Cricket training will also be facilitated. Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball etc can also be played. It can also be used as a training ground for athletes when major competitions are held on the synthetic track. Bathani school grounds were used for training during the State School Sports Festival. This land was also used as a restaurant.
The land used by the driving school and the motor vehicle department was reclaimed with much effort. AM Under the leadership of Moiteen MLA, the surrounding wall of the field was built at a cost of 42 lakh rupees.
