The new Revodok Pro 313 is a 13-port USB-C hub that supports up to three 4K outputs with USB-C and A, Ethernet, SD card slot, 3.5mm audio jack, one DisplayPort, and two HDMI ports.

No power supply is required, it is plug-and-play by connecting to a computer, and 85W pass-through charging is possible from the power supply via 100W PD. The problem is that the orientation is fixed because it’s connected directly to the main unit, but cables that aren’t removed often, like DP/HDMI and Ethernet, can be stored in the back.

There are two ports on the back: USB-C for power, DisplayPort, HDMI, a 5Gbps USB-A port, and 1Gbps Ethernet. The front has a microSD/SD card slot, 3.5mm audio jack, a 5Gbps USB-A port, two 10Gbps USB-A ports, and a 10Gbps USB-C port.

Because they aren’t independent power supplies, you can’t charge them on each port unless you connect the hub to your computer, and none of the ports support fast charging. Therefore, basically the main task is to install peripheral devices (receivers, webcams, etc.) that work by connecting to the PC.

This is useful if you have a lot of peripherals with USB-A connectors, but if you have a newer laptop or MacBook with an increasing number of USB-C peripherals, you may need to use a conversion connector. It’s good that there is a USB-C port on the front, but if I were to be greedy, it would have been convenient to have another USB-C (for example, replacing A with C).

In my case, I connect the webcam to port A on the back and the headset receiver to port A. I plan to occasionally use the remaining port A for conference speakers, gaming mouse receivers, etc.

I actually used the UGREEN Revodok Pro 313 to output to three monitors at WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution. The connected laptops are a RazerBook 13 (Windows) and an HP Elite Dragonfly Chromebook (ChromeOS) supporting Thunderbolt 4.

As for Windows, all three monitors output in WQHD, and there were no issues with the scaling settings. On the other hand, with ChromeOS, although you can output to three monitors, the resolution of one of the monitors is set to the lowest resolution (800 x 600) and cannot be changed.

The HP Elite Dragonfly Chromebook (ChromeOS) uses the flagship Core i7-1265U/16GB RAM model, so there are no performance issues (in fact, it has higher performance than the Windows RazerBook) and can run smoothly on Windows . , it’s possible that this isn’t an issue with Revodok Pro 313, but rather some sort of limitation or issue on the ChromeOS side. As a result, I wasn’t able to output to three WQHD monitors using a Chromebook, which was my original goal.

However, after testing the settings several times, I found that I was able to play on 3 monitors with a setup of 1 WQHD and 2 Full HD, so it may be possible to do this by adjusting your monitor resolution. I wasn’t able to verify this, but if you’re outputting to 1 WQHD and 2 Full HD or 3 Full HD, it seems possible to use the Revodok Pro 313 on a Chromebook.

I continued my daily work with the device connected for several days and the work was relatively stable. Although there was a fever, there was no particular instability caused by it.

Even large docking stations are often only able to handle up to two monitors, but the UGREEN Revodok Pro 313 is compact and can be used without the need for a dedicated power supply, has many ports, and is limited to Windows. is that it can output up to three monitors (4K).

On the other hand, the direction of connection to the computer tends to be fixed, so you need to consider the location, and if you have a lot of USB-C peripherals, you will need conversion connectors, etc., which is a problem if you you want to connect devices other than Windows.
