Punjab Launches Eco-Friendly Hybrid Double Decker Buses for Tourism
Punjab has introduced 5 new hybrid double decker buses, marking a significant milestone in the history of Pakistan as the first time such buses are being operated.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched the 5 new hybrid double decker buses and took a ride to inspect the vehicles. She emphasized the importance of providing new eco-friendly buses for metropolitan tourism in Punjab.
According to the Chief Minister, these hybrid double-decker buses will be operated on new routes for tourism in Lahore, with one bus also being added in Bahawalpur and Rawalpindi.
The authorities have announced plans to start a double-decker bus service for tourism in Multan and Faisalabad. In Lahore, 3 new buses will be routed from Gaddafi Stadium to different tourist destinations.
