Recode and Slow Bed Unveil Sustainable Home Wear and Lifestyle Items

Kolon Industries’ FnC division’s upcycling brand ‘Recode’ has announced a collaboration with mattress specialty brand ‘Slow Bed’ to introduce home wear and lifestyle items with a focus on sustainability. This partnership combines upcycled materials and slow, environmentally conscious practices to create unique products.

Collaboration Products

A total of four collaboration products have been released, including:

* Room slippers made with Slow Bed’s extra mattress and Recode’s upcycled car seat covers, providing a sturdy yet cozy fit.
* Cushions with a lining made of organic knit fabric extracted from the top of the mattress, and an outer material made of Recode nylon taft fabric extracted from discarded fishing nets, adding gloss and flexibility.
* Vests with a lining made of organic knit fabric and an outer material made of Recode nylon taft fabric, combining Slow Bed’s eco-friendly cotton fiber and Recode’s vehicle airbag fabric to create a durable yet unique design.
* Pouches made with Recode’s polyester fabric recycled from waste plastic, combining Slow Bed’s eco-friendly cotton fiber and Recode’s vehicle airbag fabric.

Exhibition and Availability

Recode and Slow Bed have each prepared a special exhibition space tailored to the collaboration concept. The exhibition will be held at the Recode Cheongdam flagship store until November 28th and at the Slowbed Nonhyeon flagship store until January 25th next year. Visitors can directly experience and purchase the collaborative products.
