Apple’s Upcoming iPhone 16 Launch: What to Expect

Apple is set to host its annual press conference on Monday, September 9, at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California. The event, themed “It’s Glowtime,” is expected to feature the launch of the highly anticipated iPhone 16, powered by the A18 chip and Apple Intelligence (AI) features.

The iPhone 16 is rumored to be equipped with SoftBank’s newest Arm chip, V9, which promises to deliver enhanced mobile AI processing performance. This development comes after Apple signed an agreement with Arm in September 2023, extending its access to the Arm architecture until 2040. Arm Holdings has also launched its Armv9 CPU, designed to accelerate mobile AI processing performance.
