[골프한국 하유선 기자] On the LPGA tour this year, rookie Lim Jin-hee (25) and second-year player Yoo Hae-ran (23) recorded consecutive top 10s.
Yoo Hae-ran recorded 5 birdies and 3 bogeys in the 4th round of the JM Eagle LA Championship (total prize money $3.75 million) held at Wilshire Country Club (par 71, 6,447 yards) in Los Angeles, California on the 29th (Korea time) , 2 under par I shot 69.
Yoo Hae-ran, who showed a stable performance over the four days, came in only third with a final total of 6 under par 278 strokes. The position rose 4 places from the previous day.
Yoo Hae-ran finished in the top 10 in three consecutive competitions, following a tie for 9th place in the T-Mobile Match Play and a lone 5th place finish in the Chevron Championship.
Yoo Hae-ran, who appeared in 9 competitions this year, including this one, passed the cut for the 8th time and is also in the top 10 for the 4th time this season.
Jinhee Lim, who set a new course record by scoring 63 strokes (8 under par) in the third round the previous day, shot a 1 over par 72 on the final day. After making bogeys on the 1st and 5th holes (par 4), he made his only birdie on the 16th hole (par 4).
Lim Jin-hee, whose final total was 5 under par 279 strokes, tied for 4th with Ko Jin-young (28).
Jinhee Lim, who achieved her first top 10 on the LPGA Tour by finishing 8th at the Chevron Championship, the first major tournament of the season last week, has placed in the top 10 for two consecutive weeks.
