Salmonella was found in ‘Don’t starve Tuna Rice Bowl’ produced by Korea Food System, and E. coli was found in Bonfit’s ‘High Rice & Sausage’. Salmonella can survive for a long time even in refrigerated conditions, and when infected, causes acute gastroenteritis, including vomiting, diarrhea and fever. E. coli, which causes most food poisoning, is accompanied by symptoms such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, vomiting, bloody stool, and dehydration.

Listeria motogenes was found in ‘Fan Salad Sous Vide’ by Mastgwabut and Wonang International and ‘Pyongyang Bibimbap’ by Naviya and Esk Planning. Listeria motocytogenes is a low-temperature bacteria that causes symptoms such as diarrhea, high fever, and chills. In pregnant women, miscarriage and premature birth can occur.

The Consumer Agency said, “The businesses that produced and sold the product in question stopped selling and disposed of the inventory in accordance with the corrective recommendation,” and added, “We intend to request measures such as an audit’ r product to the Ministry of Food. and Drug Safety.”

Meanwhile, the number of one-person households nationwide has exceeded 10 million due to rapid aging, the spread of unmarried people, and a low birth rate. According to the Ministry of Interior and Security’s resident registration statistics on the 9th, the number of one-person households across the country was 10,021,413, exceeding 10 million for the first time in March this year.
