Chinese augmented reality (AR) glasses maker Rokid will launch its latest AR Spatial ⁢eyewear globally through Alibaba Group Holding’s AliExpress e-commerce platform. ⁤The move signifies the⁤ company’s push into overseas markets amid increasing industry competition.

The Hangzhou-based company ‍plans to debut the augmented reality glasses overseas on⁣ June 16 during the AliExpress 618 summer sale. Rokid will leverage Alibaba’s⁤ “BigSave” ⁤program to offer ‍a limited-time⁣ discount, reducing the price to $568, nearly $100 off the regular price, the company announced thursday.
