Manchester United beat West Ham 2-1

Manchester United struggled to beat West Ham 2-1 in the fifth round of the 2021-2022 EPL held at the London Stadium in London, England on the 19th (local time) thanks to relay goals from Ronaldo and Lingard.
With this victory, Manchester United continued their unbeaten streak in their opening 5 matches (4 wins, 1 draw, 13 points) along with their recent 3 victories, standing shoulder to shoulder with Chelsea and Liverpool (13 points or more), but ranked third in goal difference.
In the 30th minute of the first half, West Ham’s Said Benrahma gave Manchester United the lead, and in the 34th minute, Bruno Fernandez’s cross from the left in midfield was blocked by Ronaldo’s right-footed shot. He balanced the game by pushing again with a right-footed shot.
Manchester United predicted victory in the 44th minute when Lingard scored the winning goal with a powerful right-footed shot from the left side of the penalty area.
However, United suffered a draw in the second half after conceding a penalty kick due to a handball foul by Luke Shaw in extra time, but goalkeeper De Gea’s amazing save show unfolded and they struggled to win 2-1.
