Rory Kleinveldt to Coach Western Province, Leaves Northamptonshire

Rory Kleinveldt, Northamptonshire’s led bowling coach, is set to depart the club next month. He will take over as head coach of Western Province in South Africa,his home country. The move marks a return to familiar territory for Kleinveldt,who previously served as an assistant coach for two years at Western Province before joining Northamptonshire.
Kleinveldt, 42, made 109 appearances for Northamptonshire as a player. As a seamer,he secured 217 wickets and contributed to their T20 Blast victory in 2016. He returned to Wantage Road in march 2024 to lead the bowling department.
