The K-pop singer tops the top chart again

The single “APT.” girl group Blackpink’s Rosé (pictured), a collaboration with world-famous pop star Bruno Mars, ranked second in the Official UK Singles Chart. This is the highest ranking among K-pop female singers of all time.

According to the latest ranking released on 1st (local time), ‘Apartment’ ranked second after Gigi Perez’s ‘Sailor Song’. The Official UK Singles Chart is considered one of the two largest charts in the world alongside the US Billboard. As a K-pop singer, PSY was the only K-pop singer to top this chart with “Gangnam Style” in 2012. ‘Apartment’ first entered this chart at number 4 on the 25th of the month last.

“Apartment,” a pre-released song from Rosé’s first solo album “Rosie,” which will be released next month, was inspired by the Korean drinking game “Apartment Game” and is gaining worldwide popularity with its repetitive chorus and compelling.
