Al-Ittihad Dominates Al-Wahda with 7-1 Victory in Roshan League

Al-Ittihad secured a resounding 7-1 win over Al-Wahda in the third round of the Saudi Professional League “Roshan League” at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, with a crowd of 49,712 fans in attendance.

The match saw Al-Ittihad take an early lead through Karim Benzema’s goal in the second minute, followed by Hossam Awar’s strike in the 12th minute. Al-Wahda managed to reduce the deficit with Youssef Amin’s goal in the 30th minute. However, Al-Ittihad scored again before the end of the first half, with Fabinho netting the third goal in the 45+4 minutes, securing a 3-1 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Al-Ittihad continued their impressive performance, scoring a quick fourth goal through Karim Benzema in the 46th minute. Fawaz Al-Sakour added the fifth goal in the 54th minute, followed by Saleh Al-Shehri’s sixth goal in the 87th minute. Karim Benzema completed his hat-trick in the 88th minute, securing a 7-1 victory for Al-Ittihad.

With this result, Al-Ittihad increased their score to 9 points, taking the top spot in the league standings, while Al-Wahda’s score remains at 4 points in eleventh place.
