Russian Parliament ratifies Treaty of Annexation of Ukraine’s Occupied Territories … Putin’s final signature continues

The Russian Parliament has ratified an agreement on the annexation of occupied territories in Ukraine on the 4th (local time), Reuters news agency and TASS reported.

At the meeting, the Parliament unanimously confirmed the agreement on the annexation of the four territories occupied by Donetsk, Lugansk (Ukrainian name Luhansk), Kherson and Zaporiza.

The agreement was also passed unanimously in the House of Representatives the day before.

As a result, the annexation of Russia and these occupied territories is only for the final signature of President Vladimir Putin.

Relevant documents for this have already been distributed to the Kremlin.

President Putin signed an annexation agreement with the occupied territories in the Kremlin on the 30th of the same month after the territorial termination of these occupied territories was decided by referendum on the 23rd and 27th of last month.

Since then, legal procedures such as the Constitutional Court’s ruling on the constitutionality of the agreement have continued one after the other.

However, Ukraine has not recognized the annexation and has continued its territorial offensive.

Immediately after the annexation agreement was signed, Lehman was found, a key point going to the eastern Luhansk Oblast, and the southern Kherson Oblast also broke through the front line about 30 km along the Dnipro River.

The West has also condemned the annexation as a breach of international law and is pushing for arms aid to Ukraine and additional sanctions against Russia.

But Russia is threatening to use nuclear weapons to defend the territories annexed as its territory.

Recently, there have been reports of signs of nuclear tests or the use of nuclear weapons in the Arctic Ocean and near the border with Ukraine.

The United States and the West are warning that the use of nuclear weapons will lead to serious consequences along with a decisive response.
