The multi-purpose nuclear submarines of the Yasen-M project should therefore contain the Zircon missile system in the future. The hypersonic cruise missile has so far been installed in various battle cruisers of the Russian Navy. In the past, however, tests have already taken place in which “Zirkon” was fired from a submarine. The Russian President had described the hypersonic missile as “unparalleled” to emphasize its uniqueness.
