Actor Ryu Jun-yeol built a small building in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and made a profit of about 4 billion won after tax in a short period of time after selling it, his agency made a statement.
On the 24th, an official from Ryu Jun-yeol’s agency, C-JeS Entertainment, said on News 1, “It is difficult to confirm the private life of the actor’s personal assets and business.”
Earlier on the same day, a media reported that Ryu Jun-yeol purchased the land in Yeoksam-dong in 2020 under the name of a private corporation headed by his mother. The purchase price of the 83-pyeong lot was 5.8 billion won, and it was said that Ryu Jun-yeol borrowed 5.2 billion won from a bank and secured 90% of his sale price as a loan.
According to the report, Jun-Yeol Ryu started a new construction with a building with two stories below the ground and seven above the ground.
In January of this year, the building was purchased for 15 billion won. After about two years of owning the building, the profit from market value is estimated to be 6 billion won before tax and 4 billion won after tax.
