Saleh Jumaa was suspended for 6 months in the Iraqi League

The Disciplinary Committee of the Iraqi Football Federation announced that the player, Saleh Jumaa, was suspended for 6 months and fined 25 million Iraqi dinars, due to what happened by the Al-Karkh player in his team’s 3-2 loss against Najaf.

The Karkh-Najaf match dates back to last April 30, when the two sides met in the 25th round of the Iraqi League competitions.

Discipline revealed that the match report confirmed that Saleh Jumaa used obscene words and insulting and offensive actions, as well as spitting on the referee, so it was decided to suspend him for 6 months and fine him 25 million Iraqi dinars (equivalent to 910 thousand Egyptian pounds).

The committee confirmed that the decision issued against the player Saleh Jumaa is subject to appeal.

Thus, Saleh Jumaa’s season ends with Al-Karkh, which is led by Egyptian coach Haitham Shaaban, knowing that his team ranks fifteenth in the Iraqi league table with 24 points.
