Samsung has published an official list of Galaxy smartphones and tablets scheduled to receive the Android 17-based One UI 9 update, detailing rollout plans that span major flagships and regional schedules. The software update began rolling out with the Galaxy S26 series in September before expanding to previous-generation hardware.
While the initial schedule comes directly from Samsung Japan, the listed devices indicate the broad scope of hardware set for the Android 17 upgrade globally over the coming months. The manufacturer released the lineup details on October 23, 2026, outlining deployment targets for October and November 2026 in that specific region.
Confirmed Galaxy Flagships and Foldables
The published lineup covers multiple generations of Samsung’s flagship and foldable devices. Included smartphones span the Galaxy S26, S25, and S24 series, alongside the Galaxy S24 FE and S23 lineup.
Foldable devices featured in the regional schedule include the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, as well as preceding generations down to the Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5. Notable omissions from the initial publishing include certain Plus variants of recent flagship series and various regional configurations.
Supported Mid-Range and Tablet Hardware
Samsung’s update timeline also extends to mid-range smartphones and a wide array of tablet hardware. Confirmed mid-range models include the Galaxy A57, A55, A54, A36, and A25.

The tablet roster features the Galaxy Tab S11 series alongside the Tab S10 and Tab S9 families in standard, Plus, and Ultra configurations. Additional tablet entries include the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series, Tab S10 Lite, Tab S9 FE series, a 2024 edition of the Tab S6 Lite, the Tab A11 and Tab A11 5G, and the rugged Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro.
Global Deployment and Future Schedule
Samsung plans to distribute these updates across October and November 2026 for the Japanese market. The manufacturer will continue its global rollout following that initial regional window, with entry-level devices expected to receive the software throughout December 2026 and January 2027.
Further regional releases and subsequent device additions will be incorporated into the deployment schedule as Samsung rolls out the operating system upgrade worldwide.
