Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip6 to Feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chipset: What to Expect from the Latest Foldable Smartphone

Samsung is preparing to launch its latest foldable smartphones, Galaxy Z Flip6 and Fold6, along with the Galaxy Ring smart ring, at the Unpacked event in July 2024. They are expected to be equipped with the Samsung-developed Exynos 2400 chip

But a recent test on the Geekbench platform revealed that the Galaxy Z Flip6 will be equipped with a different premium chipset.

The Galaxy Z Flip6 comes with the model number SM-F741U and was tested for graphics processing performance using graphics development kits or application programming interfaces (APIs) called Vulcan and OpenCL, with scores of 15,084 and 14,325, respectively.

This test also reveals that the Galaxy Z Flip6 is equipped with a 2.26 GHz 8-core CPU and an Adreno 750 graphics chip, which is in line with the specifications of Qualcomm’s premium Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset which has specs specially adapted for Samsung Galaxy Smartphone

The Galaxy Z Flip6 also runs Android 14 operating system software, which is expected to include One UI 6.1, and Galaxy AI with 8GB of RAM, which is expected to have up to 12GB of RAM.
