The San Diego women’s basketball team lost to Omaha, 70-66, in their first home game of the season at Jenny Craig Pavilion. This was the team’s first home appearance in 23 days.

• San Diego built a 49-44 lead in the third quarter with jump shots from Ava Ranson and Courtney Wristen. The Toreros led 49-46 at the end of the third quarter.
• In the final quarter, Omaha surged ahead with the first five points. Truitt Reilly scored and regained the lead for San Diego twice.
• Omaha took control in the final minutes, securing their victory.

• Courtney Wristen recorded her first double-double of the season, scoring 11 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.
• Kylie Horstmeyer led all scorers with 16 points and was perfect at the free-throw line (6-for-6).
• Hallie Rhodes scored a season-high 12 points and grabbed five rebounds in 25 minutes.
