Mauritanian Beach Soccer Team Rises in World Rankings
The Mauritanian beach soccer team has made significant strides in the latest world rankings, jumping to 34th position globally, as per the recent classification published by the Beach Soccer website, recognized by the International Football Federation (FIFA).
In the new classification, Mauritania’s beach soccer team is ranked as the fourth best team in Africa and the sixth best team in the Arab world, following its impressive second-place finish in the African Beach Soccer Cup (Egypt 2024).
Brazil currently holds the top spot in the world rankings, while Senegal, the African champion, maintains its position as the top-ranked team in Africa.
