World Championship silver medalist Kidambi Srikanth has also moved up in the rankings

Kuala Lumpur | Kidambi Srikanth wins silver at World Badminton Championships Srikanth has moved up four places to 10th in the latest world rankings of men’s released by the BWF, an international badminton body. He has 69,158 points. Denmark’s Victor Axelsen tops the list with 1,16,779 points. Japan’s Kento Momota and Denmark’s Anders Antonsen are second, third and third respectively. Srikanth is the only Indian player in the top ten.

Lakshya Sen, India’s own bronze medalist at the World Badminton Championships, moved up two places to 17th. Lakshya overtook another Indian, Sai Praneeth. Sai Praneeth is 18th. In the women’s rankings, India’s PV Sindhu remains seventh. Tai Su Ying of Chinese Taipei is the first. Japan’s Akane Yamaguchi is second and China’s Chen Yu Fei is third.
