Actress Sargun Mehta has addressed ongoing speculation regarding a potential pregnancy, firmly stating that reports claiming she and her husband, actor Ravie Dubey, are expecting their first child after 12 years of marriage are untrue. Mehta publicly denied the claims on her Instagram account, expressing frustration with the repeated circulation of false information. She pointed out that, according to media reports, she has been consistently reported as pregnant for the past two years. “News apparently knows before us about our pregnancy for the last 2 years. According to them, I’ve been pregnant. That’s one long pregnancy!” she wrote in a post on February 21, 2026.

She further urged media outlets and individuals to verify information before publishing or sharing it. “Just calm down and stop spreading baseless news. It wouldn’t take much time to ask us or our team if the news is genuine before writing about it,” Mehta stated. She concluded with a plea for respect, asking, “How do you know about a pregnancy that me and Ravie are unaware about? STOP IT .. KINDLY.”

The recent wave of speculation was triggered by photographs of the couple near a hospital, shared by the entertainment account Telly Creates. This led to a surge of posts suggesting they were preparing for parenthood. Mehta’s direct response followed shortly after.

Ravie Dubey has not publicly commented on the matter, though he did respond to his wife’s Instagram post with a laughing emoji. Attempts to reach Dubey for comment were unsuccessful, according to reports.
