Satirist Adds Wit to ‘Pilgrimage’ Production Presentation

The satirist showcased his comedic genius during the production presentation of ‘Pilgrimage’ on MBC Every1.

In attendance at the Stanford Hotel in Seoul’s Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, were satirist Song Hae-na, as well as Kim Je-dong and Kim Ea-na.

‘Pilgrimage’ is an engaging program that delves into the experiences of Christian, Buddhist, and Catholic priests as they visit holy places teeming with ordinary people’s desires. Leading the show as MCs are Kim Ina, satirist Song Hae-na, and Kim Je-dong.

The program brims with honest and daring satirical charm, captivating viewers with its candid comments. Reflecting on his interactions with the clergy, the satirist shared, “At first, it was intimidating and challenging. Being accustomed to delivering sharp remarks, I wondered how I should approach the conversation cautiously. However, as we engaged in discussion, I quickly realized that the clergy are individuals living in society just like anyone else. This realization made me feel more at ease.”

He further expressed, “In ‘Pilgrimage,’ I can enjoy engaging in lively discussions without crossing any boundaries. It is through this show that I can exhibit the piquant flavor of satire towards the clergy. I don’t simply sit back quietly when the clergy appears; I see it as an opportunity for amusement.”

Kim Eana, remarking on the satirist’s presence, said, “He delivers unconventional and spicy comments, yet he remains respectful and never comes across as rude. This balanced approach allows us to savor the lively flavor comfortably.” She added, “Off-camera, the satirist is incredibly polite; his demeanor carries a Confucian sensibility.”

Amidst his banter, the satirist humorously expressed his desire to invite the clergy into his home, where he can offer them a taste of the world’s spiciness and the human condition.

‘Pilgrimage’ is set to premiere on the 31st at 8:30 PM.

On the 27th, a production presentation for MBC Every1’s ‘Pilgrimage’ was held at the Stanford Hotel located in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Kim Je-dong, Kim Ea-na, and satirist Song Hae-na attended this event.

‘Pilgrimage’ is a diverse program that includes the fascinating worldly experiences of Christian, Buddhist and Catholic priests who actively visit holy places that are full of the desires of ordinary people. Kim Ina, satirist Song Hae-na, and Kim Je-dong serve as MCs and host the program.

Satire shows its honest and daring charm throughout the programme. He is very fond of his Maramat talk and is expected to capture the attention of viewers with his blunt comments in ‘Pilgrimage’. Recalling his meeting with the clergy, Satire said, “It was difficult at first. It was scary. I’m the kind of person who gives talks in Malamat, right? I thought, ‘What should I do? to be careful about it?’, but As we talked, I realized that clergy are also people who live in society, “I feel more comfortable,” he said.

At the same time, he said, “I have a fun conversation without crossing the line. I think that only in ‘Pilgrimage’ can I see the spicy taste of satire being shown to the clergy. I don’t wait quietly just because the clergy appear. I see it as a point of fun. “Give it to me,” he said. As for satire, Kim Eana said, “He makes spicy and unconventional comments, but not is a rude friend. Because of the balance, I was able to enjoy the spicy flavor comfortably.” He continued, “(The satire) is so polite that it has a Confucian feel when the cameras are off.”

The place the satirist wants to present to the clergy is his own home. He was joking and making people laugh, saying, “I want to invite you to my house and show you a spicy taste of what the world is like and what the basket is.”

Meanwhile, ‘Pilgrimage’ will premiere on the 31st at 8:30 PM.
