Jeddah: The Saudi Interior Ministry has announced that four countries, including India, have been exempted from the 16 countries that banned travel to the country’s citizens following the Kovid pandemic. The other three countries that lifted the travel ban were Ethiopia, Turkey and Vietnam.

The travel ban was lifted in four countries, according to a report by the Saudi Ministry of Health, which assesses the situation in the world.

Indonesia, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, Iran, Somalia, Afghanistan, Venezuela, Armenia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Libya and Belarus are the only countries currently banned from traveling by Saudi nationals.

In the early days of Kovid, India was on the list of countries that banned travel to the natives, but in the meanwhile it was dropped and re-imposed. That ban has also been lifted with the announcement of the present Home Ministry.
