SCGP reveals that Q3/22 profits grew 3% YoY, but contracted slightly by 1% QoQ.

SCG Packaging Public Company Limited (SCGP) explained 3Q22 earnings that the Company had revenue from sales of 37,943 million baht, an increase of 19% compared to the same period last year. The main factor is the adjustment of product prices to reflect rising costs. The growth of the pulp and paper business (Fibre Business), driven mainly by the increase in pulp prices. and the demand for food packaging is constantly increasing. Including business expansion through the merger of Peute Recycling BV (Peute) in the Netherlands and Jordan Trading Inc. (Jordan) in the United States. The financial statements of the two companies have been combined in SCGP’s consolidated financial statements since July and September 22, respectively.

EBITDA was 5,483 million baht, an increase of 12% YoY with an EBITDA margin of 14%. Profit for the period was 1,837 million baht, an increase of 3% YoY. and has a net profit margin of 5%, supported by the aforementioned business expansion.
