Schubert: Pacheco will leave Pyramids after 48 hours… and Ramadan Sobhi continues

Journalist Ahmed Schubert confirmed that Portuguese Jaime Pacheco, the coach of the Pyramids club team, will leave coaching the team within 48 hours, following the team’s exit from the League Cup tournament.

Schubert said in statements on the “Can 2023” program on On Time Sport 1: “Pyramids management has decided on Pacheco’s departure and the appointment of a new foreign technical director who will be announced within the next few days.”

The Egyptian club, led by Ali Maher, achieved a broad victory over its guest, Pyramids, by three goals to one, during the match that brought the two teams together at Burj Al Arab Stadium in Alexandria, in the quarter-finals of the Egyptian Club League Cup. The goals of the Egyptian club were scored by Mido Gaber in the 27th minute, and Salah Mohsen in the 27th minute. The 75th minute, Karim El Iraqi in the 85th minute, while Fakhri Lakay scored Pyramids’ only goal.

Schubert added that Ramadan Sobhi, the Pyramids player, is continuing with the team after no foreign or local offers arrived for the player during the winter transfers, indicating that the Pyramids management welcomes the player’s departure if an offer arrives that befits the value of the team’s star.
