GLASGOW, Scotland — Cieran Slicker’s first appearance for Scotland was one he’ll want to forget. The goalkeeper bore obligation for all three goals in Scotland’s 3-1 friendly defeat to Iceland at Hampden Park on Thursday.
Slicker,who played just nine minutes for Ipswich this season,entered the game after Angus Gunn sustained an early injury. Andri Gudjohnsen quickly tested him, curling a shot into the net.
