Call for a “Scrap Incentive Law”
Bendevi Palandöken, Chairman of the Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK), has advocated for the re-enactment of a “Scrap Incentive Law.” Palandöken stated the law would benefit the habitat and allow citizens to upgrade to more pleasant vehicles. The request was made to encourage the replacement of older, less environmentally friendly automobiles with newer models.
