Ahead of the official announcement, Scuderia Ferrari presented its 2024 F1 car, the SF-24, to fans for the first time. Ferrari will enter the 2024 F1 World Championship aiming to improve on last year’s performance, which finished third in the Constructors’ Championship. Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will join forces for a fourth season, making them the longest-running partnership on the F1 grid alongside Red Bull.
However, 2025 will be the last season for the pair as Lewis Hamilton will replace Sainz. The only time Red Bull failed to win last year was the Singapore Grand Prix, with Sainz winning at the Marina Bay circuit. Ferrari expects the SF-24 to be more competitive than its predecessor and has released some ahead of the official announcement. The SF-24 livery that was released only takes Leclerc and Sainz’s car numbers, but is distinctive with white with yellow trim like the WEC team hypercar “499P”.
