SCUF Gaming announced the launch of the SCUF Omega on May 12, 2026, a high-performance controller officially licensed for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro consoles. The device is designed for competitive gaming and is compatible with PlayStation 5 consoles, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android.
The SCUF Omega is positioned as the most advanced controller developed by the company to date. It incorporates 15 years of insights from professional players and championship teams to deliver a gaming experience focused on low-latency connectivity and seamless integration.
Technical Specifications and Input Customization
A central feature of the SCUF Omega is its expanded array of inputs. The controller provides a total of 28 inputs, which includes 11 additional customizable inputs. These extra controls consist of four rear paddles, two side buttons, and five G-Keys.
These additional inputs are designed to allow players to execute critical actions without removing their thumbs from the analog sticks. According to the company, this allows for actions such as jumping, reloading, or sliding mid-sprint while maintaining aim.
To ensure high responsiveness, the hardware utilizes mechanical inputs and 1K polling. The controller also features instant triggers intended to increase speed and precision during competitive play.
Software Integration and Versatility
Beyond the physical hardware, the SCUF Omega offers software-driven personalization. Users can remap inputs directly on the controller or use the Scuf Mobile App, which is available for Android and iOS. The app enables users to build multiple profiles and fine-tune layouts between matches or create entirely different setups for different games.

While the device is officially licensed for the PlayStation 5 ecosystem, its compatibility extends to other major platforms, including Mac, PC, and mobile devices.
