Hwang Ui-Jo scored the opening goal in the 17th minute of the second half while starting in the 10th round of French Ligue 1 of the 2021-22 season against Nantes held in Bordeaux, France on the 17th (Korean time). Afterwards, Hwang Eui-jo suffered an ankle injury in the 28th minute of the second half and was replaced by Niang.

The gap with the 18th-placed Mets (6 points) in the relegation zone is only two points, and Bordeaux may have to play an away game at Lorient in the absence of key striker Hwang Ui-Jo.
