Seattle PWHL adds Versatile Forward Natalie Snodgrass
Seattle’s Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) team has signed forward Natalie Snodgrass to a one-year contract. The expansion team made the announcement Wednesday.
Snodgrass, 26, brings experience from her time with the Ottawa Charge, where she played in 44 games over two seasons, scoring two goals and six assists.Before Ottawa, she played for the Minnesota Whitecaps in the premier Hockey Federation, tying for the team lead with 20 points.
Prior to her professional career, Snodgrass captained the University of Connecticut Huskies. During her collegiate career, she totaled 139 points, with 70 goals and 69 assists. She also won gold medals representing the United States at the IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship in 2015 and 2016.
“Natalie is a strong skater with the versatility to play in a number of diffrent roles,” said Seattle general manager Meghan turner. “She competes hard every shift and brings a consistent work ethic that makes her a valuable addition to our group. Her ability to adapt in all situations will make her an important piece of our lineup.”
