A Heartbroken City: Interview on the Passing of Jonathan Adamow
Sarah: Oh my gosh, daniel, did you hear about the shooting in Capitol Hill? It’s just heartbreaking.
Daniel: I did, sarah. It’s terrible. I saw some posts online about a young man being killed. Do you know anything more?
Sarah: Apparently his name was Jonathan Adamow, and he was onyl 29. “)[1]
He was caught in the crossfire of some kind of incident, just walking down the street.
Daniel: That’s awful. Was he from Seattle?
Sarah: Actually,no. According to the news reports, his dad is a firefighter in New York City. “)[1]
The Seattle fire department even went to Harborview Medical Center to show their support for the family. They said there was a strong turnout of firefighters from both cities. Can you imagine going through something like that?
daniel:
I can’t even fathom it. It’s one thing to lose a loved one, but to lose them to such a senseless act of violence… It’s just devastating. Do they know who did it?
Sarah: Not yet. the police are looking for the shooter and whoever was with them – they drove off in a white car. They’re asking anyone with facts to come forward.
Daniel: This is just terrible news. It really makes you think about how precious life is and how quickly things can change.
Sarah:** It does. You know, they said there’s going to be a vigil for Jonathan soon. I think I’m going to go. It’s the least I can do to show my support for his family and the community.
