The Seattle Storm are dealing with off-court issues amid a 4-4 start to the WNBA season. A trade request from forward Li Yueru and allegations involving a member of the coaching staff have recently surfaced, creating turbulence for the franchise.

Williams later added that the league was reviewing a complaint from a former player who alleged that an assistant coach used profanity toward them.
However, ESPN reported that while the WNBA did follow up on an allegation that a Storm assistant coach cursed at a Las Vegas Aces player after their Sunday game in Seattle, there is no active investigation into the Seattle Storm.The Aces won that game 75-70.
